Tarea # 4

* Outcomes

Me gusta el punto que dice: "... God has given each individual specific talents and gifts, and a unique personality that reflects a unique part of His personality. These gifts have been bestowed on mankind tu be used un His service and to brig Him glory..."

* Objectives

1. Teach participants the importance of entering another culture as servant who can appreciate and respect the differences between their home culture and host culture, as well as accpet cultures other than their own.

2. Give participants opportunities for servant-learning through partnership with and submission to host missionaries and national leaders to assist in implementing log-term goals of th host ministry.

3. Provide opportunities for participants to develop relationships across cultures trough face-to-face partnership with host ministries and national christians and through interaction with children, youth and adults in various settings.

Andrea, one of the reasons I'm so happy you're on this trip is that you made such great relationships with the people in Mancora! Loving people is definitely a gift God has given you!

Good thoughts and comments again, Andrea!

Outcomes – It is amazing that God chooses to use us, His children, to reflect to the world who He is! We are not perfect, we are flawed reflections – kind of like a broken mirror or a foggy mirror which does not give a true and clear reflection. But your unique combination of gifts, talents and personality reflect God to the world as no one else can do. That is an incredible thought – and I believe God will bring people into your life in Peru (as well as in Panama and wherever else you may go) that need to see your unique reflection of God. My prayer for you is that your reflection of Jesus will be as pure and clear as possible and His love will shine through you!

Objectives – Your statement “Espero poder servirlos con un corazón humilde” is the key to your impact in the lives of the children, youth and adults in Máncora. In order to have a humble heart of service it is necessary to lay aside your own desires or what is convenient for you in any given moment and to truly think of the other person and his/her desires and needs. It is very hard to have a a humble heart in serving others if you are always thinking about what you want to get out of a situation or experience. Going to Máncora with a desire to serve others with a humble heart will allow you to openly respond without reservation to those who need to see God’s reflection in you.

I am praying that God continues to work in your heart to help you understand more clearly what he has planned for your life in the future – or at least the next few steps in your life! God will change you as he wants if you are open for His Spirit to work in you.
Bendiciones,
Judy
